The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 21-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Cajasol made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Valencia Basket was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Czech point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91) who scored 16 points. Center Juan Triguero (208-83) chipped in 7 points and 10 rebounds. Cajasol's coach Garcia Aito Reneses used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Eritrean-Polish swingman Thomas Kelati (195-82, college: Washington St., agency: Beo Basket) produced 19 points and Brazilian center Vitor Faverani (211-88) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Four Valencia Basket players scored in double figures. Cajasol moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with CB Canarias and Blancos de R. Loser Valencia Basket dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. Cajasol will face higher ranked Blusens Monbus (#10) in Santoago de Comp in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
