Date: March 7, 2013 Kalev/Cramo knocked down Pieno Zvaigzdes in the first game of the series. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. Pieno Zvaigzdes was better in fourth quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kalev/Cramo dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Pieno Zvaigzdes' 20. Latvian guard Armands Skele (192-83) nailed 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and American power forward Gary Wilkinson (205-82, college: Utah St.) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Guard Sarunas Vasiliauskas (188-89, agency: Alti Sport) came up with 16 points and American forward Tyrell Biggs (203-86, college: Pittsburgh) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Pieno Zvaigzdes in the defeat. Pieno Zvaigzdes' coach Mindaugas Lukosius tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
