FINAL Italy - Australia 38-62 Australia dominated the game for winning gold medal. They overcame Italy for 24 points. They Italians to score only 38 points for 40 minutes of the game while Australia score 62 which was enough for winning most shiny medal of the tournament. Starting five for Italy scored only 8 points on the game in the most important game of the tournament, which was just not enough for Australia who dominated every single part of the game winning every quarter. Semifinals USA - Australia 60-73 Maybe someone is surprised but for sure not Australian players who believed in self and win this big game for their National Team. They controlled every quarter and didn't let USA to put their energy in the match. Half time was done by Australia leading by 9 (27:36) and they just increased difference at the end of third quarter by 4 more.
