Spanish city of Zaragoza to host 2016 FIBA U17 World Championships; Egypt and Italy to stage 2017 FIBA U19 World Championships - Mar 12, 2016

FIBA's Central Board on Saturday announced that the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championships for Men and Women will take place in Zaragoza, Spain and also revealed the hosts of the 2017 FIBA U19 World Championships. FINAL USA - Croatia 79-71 OT The USA clinched the title at the World Championship in Heraklion. They overcame Croatia in a thrilling Final tonight. Jalen Brunson (188-G-97) scored 14 points, dished out 7 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds to pace Team USA to an overtime triumph. It was a high-quality basketball from start to finish. SEMIFINALS USA - Greece 82-76 Team USA advanced into the World Championship Final. They overcame a fierce opposition from hosting Greece to reach the title game.
