World - USA 84:75

World Select Team earned victory in annual Nike Hoops Summit in Portland, Oregon. They outgunned the USA Junior National Select Team. Shabazz Muhammad (198-G/F-93) shone for the USA scoring 35 points but he could not prevent his team from losing the battle.
The game gathered the top prospects in the globe basketball. Andrew Wiggins (202-F-95) led World Select Team with 20 points and 7 rebounds. World Team got to a flying start. They posted a 21:14 lead at the first break. World Team erupted for 31 points in the second quarter to secure an 18-point advantage at halftime 52:34. USA bounced back in the third quarter. Led by Shabazz Muhammad the hosts cut the distance to 9-point mark. But World Select managed to keep the US opponents at bay throughout the fourth frame earning victory at the end. Wang Zhelin (213-C-94) posted 19 points and 8 rebounds, while Dario Saric (208-F/C-94) added 13 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists in the victory. Kyle Anderson (187-G) chipped in 12 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for the USA.

2017 World Cup Draw takes place in Cairo - 13 days ago
The 2017 U19 World Cup official draw has been held in Cairo, Egypt today. The tournament is schedule to take place in Egypt from July 1st through 9th. FINAL USA - Croatia 79-71 OT The USA clinched the title at the World Championship in Heraklion. They overcame Croatia in a thrilling Final tonight. Jalen Brunson (188-G-97) scored 14 points, dished out 7 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds to pace Team USA to an overtime triumph. It was a high-quality basketball from start to finish.
