Micov
Only six days before the start of the World Cup, Serbia national team head coach Aleksandar Djordjevic decided to cut Vladimir Micov (201-F-85, agency: Beo Basket) for disciplinary reasons. During Serbia's last preparation game ahead of trip to Spain, against New Zealand (Serbia lost 96-102), Sale Djordjevic sent new Galatasaray player to the locker room after intense verbal dispute between them. After the game, Serbia coach said that 29-year-old swingman's career with national team is over. At least while he is in charge of so called The Eagles. This decision leaves Serbia with only four players who could cover two guard positions - Milos Teodosic, Stefan Markovic, Stefan Jovic and Bogdan Bogdanovic - and 13 players in total. Remaining cut will be announced in couple of days.
