2014 FIBA World Cup has just broken the record of the number of NBA participant players compared to any other previous tournament organized by the FIBA and including the Olympics.

Such increase would have positive effects on the quality of basketball which we are going to watch end of this month in Spain.

The stats below shows how much the NBA is attracting more and more talents specially from the America's and Europe. it describes each NBA team and its participants at the World Cup:

50 NBA players are participating in this World Cup.
23 NBA teams are represented by at least a single player.
7 NBA teams aren't represented: Boston, Charlotte Hornets, Dallas, L.A. Clippers, L.A. Lakers, Miami, & Philadelphia.
6 teams are without a single NBA player which are Angola, Egypt, Iran, Newzealand, South Korea, & Ukraine.
6 NBA players are in Spain's squad which is the most after the US team.
4 NBA players are representing Cleveland & Houston each; which is higher than any other team.
1 NBA free agent which is Andray Blatche from Philippines.

NBA won't release players for in-season World Cup qualifying - 1 month ago
Stephen Curry (190-PG-88, college: Davidson) said he plans to play in the 2019 World Cup. He'll need help ensuring Team USA qualifies.
