Group A
Bosnia - Armenia 98-85
Bosnia improved at 2-1 record following the home win over Armenia. Dzanan Musa (200-SG-99, agency: BeoBasket) was unstoppable with 28 points for the hosts. Bosnia unloaded 29 points in the second term to secure an 8-point halftime lead. They dropped 46 points in the second half and rallied to the victory. Almir Hasandic (191-SG-90) had 14 points in the win. Ryan Boatright (183-PG-92, college: Connecticut) responded with 30 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds for Armenia.

Slovakia - Sweden 68-59
Slovakia earned the first win in Group A. They fired past Sweden at home court tonight. Andre Jones (195-G-90, college: Winthrop), Radoslav Rancik (205-F/C-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) and Michal Batka (204-C-87) tallied 15 points each for the winners. Slovakia grabbed a 17:12 lead after ten minutes. They went on a 23:11 run in the third term to open a 13-point lead. Sweden narrowed the gap in the final term but could not avoid the defeat. Adam Ramstedt (208-SF-95) notched 13 points for Sweden.

Group B
Holland - Albania 91-77
Netherlands defeated visiting Albania to gain 2-0 record on top of Group B ladder. Jessey Voorn (197-SG-90, agency: Court Side) produced 20 points to lead the winners. Albania unloaded 53 points in the first half to secure a 2-point lead. But Netherlands used a 21:13 run in the third term to take the lead. They held Albania to just 11 points in the fourth quarter to rally to the victory. Yannick Franke (194-G-96) finished with 15 points for the winners. Gerti Shima (204-PF-86) responded with 23 points for Albania.

Group C
Estonia - Kosovo 76-50
Estonia claimed the second straight win in Group C as they beat visiting Kosovo tonight. Reinar Hallik (208-F/C-84) came up with 15 points for the hosts. Estonia posted a 40:29 halftime lead. They held Kosovo to just 21 points in the second half and raced to a comfortable win. Sten-Timmu Sokk (184-PG-89) had 14 points for the hosts. Erjon Kastrati (198-SG-94) chipped in 11 points for Kosovo.

Group D
Belarus - Portugal 78-75
Belarus held off Portugal for the first win in Group D. Vitali Liutych (198-SG-92) and Artsiom Parakhouski (210-C-87, college: Radford) had 16 points each for the hosts. Belarus posted a 26:10 lead after ten minutes. Portugal pulled within three points at the interval 36:33. Belarus however withstood the challenge. They unloaded 42 points in the second half to roll to the important victory. Aliaksandr Kudrautsau (190-SG-80) and Dimitri Paliashchuk netted 12 points each in the win. Tomas Barroso (184-PG-90, agency: Dynamics Global Management) responded with 18 points for Portugal.
