USA, Russia, Germany and France win the Group Stage in Gwangju and are the only teams remained undefeated. Germany won Group A with a 4-0 record beating Mozambique 99-37.
Russia overcame Canada 68-61 for 5-0 record and handed the first loss to the Canadians. Trailing 5 points after the first period, Russian squad erupted with a 19-9 run in the second frame
and managed to win the third period 22-18. Pavel Antipov (204-F-91) top-scored for the winners with 13 points and Aleksandr Gudumak (203-PF-93, agency: Alti Sport) netted 12. Baker and Nixon replied with 13 points each in defeat.
France won Group C with a 5-0 record beating Japan 60-46. USA remained undefeated and won Group D with the win over Switzerland 96-57. Julian Debose (193-G-92) stepped up with 18 points and Wayne Selden (196-SF-94) nailed 16.

FINAL USA - Lithuania 74-85 Lithuania captured the Gold medals in Taipei. They overcame the USA in the Final. Ignas Vaitkus (196-SF-93, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 15 points to lead the Baltic team. The USA accumulated a 38:36 halftime lead. But Lithuania bounced back with a 25:18 run in the third term. SEMIFINALS Latvia - Lithuania 75-77 Lithuania nipped Latvia to enter Final in Taipei. Ignas Vaitkus (196-SF-93, agency: Octagon Europe) notched 20 points to lead the winners. Latvia recorded a 17:13 lead after the opening quarter. Lithuania bounced back in the second term. They sank 23 points to surge ahead for a 36:33 halftime lead.
