Romania - United Arab Emirates 103-71
Romania opened win count at the tournament. They crushed UAE for the first win. Mario Lazar (201-PF-94) produced 18 points and 13 rebounds in the victory. Romania piled up a 52:32 halftime lead. They sank 51 points in the second half to seal the win. Sebastian Ionescu (185-PG-97) and Andrei Damian (196-SG-94) added 15 points each in the victory. Mohammed Khamis (183-PG-98) answered with 19 points for the UAE.

Czech Republic - USA 78-107
USA earned the third straight win in Group C. They stormed past Czech Republic to stay undefeated. Vincent Edwards (203-F-96) netted 22 points for the winners. USA led from start to finish to earn yet another win in Taipei. Isaac Haas netted 17 points in the win. Ondrej Siska (190-PG-93) replied with 16 points for Czech Republic.

Argentina - Estonia 78-65
Argentina defeated Estonia to improve at 2-1 record in Group C. Erik Thomas (196-F-95) scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Latin American side. Argentina piled up a 40:33 halftime lead. They controlled the tempo in the second half to ice the win. Matias Solanas (192-G-98) had 13 points in the victory. Siim-Markus Post (183-PG-97) replied with 16 points for Estonia.

Group D
Mozambique - Lithuania 35-122
Lithuania stormed past Mozambique to gain 2-1 record in Group D. Seven players scored in double digits for the Baltic team. Ignas Vaitkus (196-SF-93, agency: Octagon Europe) and Regimantas Miniotas (206-C/F-96) produced 19 points each for the winners. Lithuania recorded a 49:18 halftime lead. They added 73 points in the second half to cruise to the win. Justas Tamulis (194-SF-94) notched 13 points in the victory. Jonas Faduco (188-G-94) provided 13 points for Mozambique.

Ukraine - Russia 72-65
Ukraine held off Russia to remain unbeaten in Taipei. Oleksandr Kobets (197-SF-96) delivered 18 points in the win. Ukraine posted a 33:26 halftime lead. Russia pulled within a single point at the final break. But Ukraine unloaded 27 points in the fourth quarter to claim the victory. Igor Boyarkin (182-PG-95) had 15 points in the win. Ruslan Abdulbasirov (211-C-93) tallied 21 points and 15 rebounds for Russia.

FINAL USA - Lithuania 74-85 Lithuania captured the Gold medals in Taipei. They overcame the USA in the Final. Ignas Vaitkus (196-SF-93, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 15 points to lead the Baltic team. The USA accumulated a 38:36 halftime lead. But Lithuania bounced back with a 25:18 run in the third term. SEMIFINALS Latvia - Lithuania 75-77 Lithuania nipped Latvia to enter Final in Taipei. Ignas Vaitkus (196-SF-93, agency: Octagon Europe) notched 20 points to lead the winners. Latvia recorded a 17:13 lead after the opening quarter. Lithuania bounced back in the second term. They sank 23 points to surge ahead for a 36:33 halftime lead.
