Regular Season Round 6: Panellinios - Panathinaikos 84-74
Date: November 16, 2008 Coach Obradovics Panathinaikos was not able to keep its clear record as the defeat from Panellinios is taking the green team to the 5-1 record. For another week proved the big problems faced in the paint, the 36-21 rebounds from Panellinios is making the problem quite obvious while after Pekovic there is not really another true center in the team. The steady game from Batiste was not able to help the green team; it is more obvious than ever that Panathinaikos needs urgently a back-up center! Top scorer and MVP of the game was Radenovic with 21 points followed by Golemac with 16 points 8 rebounds and 9 assists. From Panathinaikos who is having a very difficult and challenging week (in Euroleague and the game against the top seated Olympiakos) top scorer was Jasikevicius with 16 points while Spanoulis and Diamantidis scored 6 and 5 points respectively.
