A Bo Ryan team would challenge Russia in the semis. Bulgaria will play in the classification games for the 5th-8th place. Quincy Pondexter finished with 15 points and 7 boards for the USA. Da'Sean Butler, Lazar Hayward and James Anderson finished with 12 points each for the winners. Pavel Marinov and Ivan Lilov replied with 15 points apiece for Bulgaria. Nikolov had 14 points in defeat.
