Proteas EKA AEL is ready to make some tremendous moves for the coming season. There are some rumours that number one target is the Greek-Cypriot player Prodromos Nikolaidis who have finished as a top Greek scorer this season in the Greek A1 with nearly 15 points per game. Furthermore, the ex champions are very closed to agree financial terms with the Greek head coach Giannis Christopoulos while the new team manager will probably be coming from Greece too as AEL's management already are in contact with the ex Olympiakos Piraeus team manager, Stavros Elliniadis, it is more than certain that the Limassol team will try to regain the leadership in the Cyprus basketball with very professional moves and it is more than sure that all these steps are developing the team into a professional level with the thoughts of participating in the Greek league still being as a major issue and target for the Queen of Cyprus Basketball.
In the mean time, the champion team of Keravnos Strovolou according to some behind the scene news has already agreed with the Greek coach Frangias, as Eurobasket first stated two weeks ago. This is not official yet but it is more than sure that this will happen inevitably within the next couple of days (meaning the announcement) furthermore, there are going t be some 'new' changes in the Strovolos team as it is not sure that some of the player which didn't receive any financial offer yet, will continue their career with the Strovolos team, besides there are a numerous of teams which will love to 'grab' some of these players and add them in their rosters.....
