One of the most ambitious russian team was
completely beat by CSKA from the very beginning. Already at the first half the
difference in the points was 13. Good defence by Molchanov and Poltoratsky, nice
playmaking by Harchenko and Evstratenko, exact scoring by Korablev.
Andrey
Podkovirov, main coach of CSKA: «We were good in defence - that is the reason
of our success. Russian club played not their best!.
Serguei
Belov talks once more that his team is playing bad, only 20-30% od its
potential. Pasesas and Shoushakov
were unable to rule the game. The biggest problem is that there no bright leadre
in team.

in the last place of group L. “Sema” was wining 6:3, 12:10, 22:14. The
guests equalized the score in the other side of the first half – 31:31.
Panevezys team made childish mistakes before the brake and Kiev team started to
move away. The masters were defending especially badly in the second half and
the competitioners scored the points easily. “Sema” players were at fault
