Like many journalists mentioned: "now Americans will have to swallow their egos and put together the real All-Star team for next such tournament in order to keep their worldwide reputation".
A 3-pointer by Jaric produced a 71-71 tie with 2:26 left, and a free throw by Dejan Bodiroga with 1:49 remaining gave Yugoslavia the lead for good. Now Yugoslavia will meet "Cinderella" New Zealand in the semis.

It's not the end of making a history for Argentina. Now Argentina beat Brazil 78-67 Thursday to advance to the semifinals of the World Championships for the first time in 52 years. They will face Germany in the semis.
