Montepasci fired past Emporio Armani in Siena to force the decider. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Armani Milano won third quarter 24-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Montepaschi Siena dominated on the defensive end, holding Armani Milano to just 7 points in second quarter

CSKA shot down Krasnie Krilya in Samara to clinch the semifinal appearance. The game was mostly controlled by CSKA Moscow. Krasnie Krilya managed to win fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Krasnie Krilya to just 7 points in first quarter. Serbian center Nenad Krstic (212-83) fired 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners
