After previous IBL promoter TVOne withdrawn before new season, PERBASI as official chief organisation basketball for Indonesia try to search new promoter. PERBASI never want IBL competition will absent this year. After waiting for several times, PERBASI have a positivness about new IBL promoter. Development Basketball League (DBL) will be new IBL promoter for this year. DBL which centered at Surabaya East Java is a basketball promoter for high school competitions

Satria Muda signed Mario Wuysang

IBL defending champion Satria Muda Britama Jakarta signed guard Mario Wuysang. Wuysang will play as starting point guard for his new team in next season IBL and current season ABL. Wuysang replaced import player from Philippine guard Rensy Bajar. Bajar released by Satria Muda before new year. He will can play when Satria Muda face Kuala Lumpur Dragons from Malaysia at first ABL match this year. Last year Wuysang played with big rival team Garuda Flexi Bandung and started all IBL games

Satria Muda Britama secured the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) Tournament trophy this year. Rony Gunawan (193-F/C-80) shot gave the four-time defending IBL champion a 61-58 victory against Pelita Jaya Esia in the final at C-Tra Arena in Bandung last week. Having BL Tournament trophy yet again capped a hectic weekend for Satria Muda. It started with a semifinal clash against defending IBL champion Garuda Flexi, which Satria Muda won 64-47

Two IBL clubs, Pelita Jaya Esia (Jakarta) and Garuda Flexi (Bandung) will hold IBL cup tournament at this month. Both clubs will be a promoter after previous official promoter TV One wasn't held this event. The event will take place in Jakarta and Bandung at 24-28 November. Ten IBL clubs will be divided into 2 groups. Group A will compete in Jakarta and group B in Bandung

Satria Muda - KL Dragons 91:67 Satria Muda claimed the second win at the ASEAN League season. They toppled KL Dragons at home court to improve at 2-1 record, while the Malaysian team slipped at 1-2. Faisal Ahmad (180-G-81) knocked down 17 points to lead the Indonesian side. Satria Muda marked their dominance in the opening frame. Satria Muda posted one win and suffered one loss at the start of the inaugural ASEAN League. The Indonesian side opened the championship against the Philippine Patriots. Satria Muda enjoyed a narrow 17:16 lead after the opening frame. But the Patriots responded in the second frame to take a one-point lead at halftime.
