Banco di Sardegna Sassari (Serie A) signed 29-year old American swingman David Lighty (195-98kg-88, college: Ohio State) from Dolomiti Energia Trento. In 15 Serie A games in Italy he had 13.1ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.4apg and 1.5spg this season. The last season Lighty played at ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket in French ProA where in 45 games he recorded 8.7ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.3apg. He helped them to win the league title (twice) and they also made it to the Cup final (twice). Lighty also played 14 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 9.6ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.8apg and 1.3spg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Lighty was selected to French ProA All-Star Game back in 2014.
He has played previously professionally in Italy (AV Cantu and Vanoli Cremona) and France (JSF Nanterre).

Aerochaco Boca Juniors Capital Feder (LigaA) is about to tab experienced 35-year old Argentinian international small forward Carlos Delfino (198-104kg-82) who played last time at Los Angeles Clippers in NBA. He has a double citizenship as he also holds Italian passport. He also spent pre-season at the Bucks in NBA that year.
In 2003 Delfino was drafted by Detroit Pistons (NBA) in first round (25th overall).
Among other achievements he played in the final of Russian A Superleague in 2009. Delfino received also Eurobasket.com All-Olympic Games Honorable Mention award back in 2012.
He has been also a member of Argentinian international program for some years. Delfino has regularly played for Argentinian senior team since 2003 and previously for U21 National Team between 2000 and 2001.
He also represented Argentina at the Olympic Games in London (United Kingdon) five years ago. Delfino's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 8 games: 15.3ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.6apg, FGP: 62.5%, 3PT: 35.2%, FT: 65.2%.
Delfino is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. Millsap ended the previous (2014-15) season at Sionista. In 15 LigaA games he recorded 13.7ppg and 5.5rpg. But the most of that year he spent at Gigantes in Mexican LNBP. In 22 games he was fifth best scorer with impressive 21.3ppg and averaged 8.3rpg, 3.3apg and 1.1spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP Honorable Mention.
In 2008 (three years after he left the college) Millsap was drafted by Reno Bighorns (D-League) in first round (151th overall).
The former Univ.of Texas - San Antonio standoutis in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Millsap has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the CIBACOPA Semifinals in 2014. Millsap was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP Forward of the Year back in 2012.
He is quite experienced player. Both players spent time with the Hawks this season. They are expected to be in uniform when the Hawks host the Heat on Friday in their first game back from the All-Star break. The moves will give the Hawks a maximum of 15 players. Patterson, a former Hawks player, recently signed two 10-day contracts with the team. The last contract expired on Feb. 17, during the NBA All-Star break. Patterson was a call-up from the NBA Development League where he was playing for Reno. He played 28 games, including 27 starts, and averaged 24.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 35.8 minutes for the Big Horns. While with the Hawks, Patterson appeared in four games and averaged 2.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 7.5 minutes.
Kelly was with the Hawks during training camp but released before the regular season on Oct. 18. He was brought back and signed on Oct. 31. He was later waived on Jan. 6. Kelly played seven games, all starts, for Maine of the D-League. He averaged 27.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 35.8 minutes for the Red Claws. While with the Hawks, Kelly appeared in nine games and averaged 1.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 5.2 minutes. The Hawks had one open roster spot at the trade deadline after not immediately signing Patterson for the remainder of the season. They created a second open roster spot by trading Mike Scott to the Suns Thursday.
