Panathinaikos BC announces its agreement with K.C. Rivers (196-G-87, college: Clemson) for the next two years (1+1). Kelvin Creswell "K. C." Rivers (born March 1, 1987) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Real Madrid of the Liga ACB. Standing at 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m), he plays at the shooting guard and small forward position. Rivers attended high school at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. While there he helped his team capture two USA Today national high school basketball championships. In those two years his team's record was a combined 72-2. He holds Oak Hill's record for most three-point field goals in a game with 15! He played college basketball at Clemson University seeing action in 102 games and averaged 14.2 points and grabbed 6 rebounds a game in his four years at Clemson. In August 2009, he signed with AB Latina of the Italian Legadue Basket, second-tier league and in December 2009 he signed with Benetton Treviso of the Lega Basket Serie A for the remainder of the season. On June 30, 2010, he signed a contract with Chorale Roanne of the French LNB Pro A for the 2010-11 season. In January 2011, he returned to Italy and signed with Virtus Bologna for the rest of the season. On July 29, 2011, he signed a one-year deal with Lokomotiv Kuban of Russia. On May 30, 2012, he signed a two-year deal with another Russian team BC Khimki. In July 2013, he parted ways with Khimki. In November 2013, he was acquired by the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League. In 47 games, he averaged 15.8 points and 4 rebounds per game during the 2013-14 season. On August 7, 2014, he signed a one-year deal with Real Madrid. In 2014-15 season, Real Madrid continued its successes in the Euroleague from the previous seasons, advancing to the Euroleague Final Four for the third straight time. In the semifinal game against Fenerbahce lker, Rivers helped his team securing third straight final game, scoring 17 points on 5 from 6 shooting from the three-point line, in a 96-87 win. Real Madrid eventually won the Euroleague championship after defeating Olympiacos in the final game with 78-59. Real Madrid eventually finished the season winning the Spanish League championship, after 3-0 score in the final series against Barcelona. With that trophy, they have won the triple crown. On September 8, 2015, Rivers signed a one-year contract with the German club Bayern Munich. On December 22, 2015, he left Bayern and returned to his former club Real Madrid for the rest of the season.

Dolomiti Energia Trento (Serie A) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American swingman David Lighty (195-98kg-88, college: Ohio State). He has played for the last two years at ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket in French ProA. In 45 games he recorded 8.7ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.3apg last season. Lighty helped them to win the league title and they also made it to the Cup final. Lighty also played 14 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 9.6ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.8apg and 1.3spg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Lighty was selected to French ProA All-Star Game in 2014.
He has played previously professionally in Italy (AV Cantu and Vanoli Cremona) and France (JSF Nanterre).
Lighty attended Ohio State until 2011 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.

DongGuan New Century Leopards (CBA) agreed terms with 31-year old Polish international power forward Maciej Lampe (211-122kg-85). He is a dual citizen owning also Swedish passport. Lampe played last season at Besiktas in Turkish BSL league. In 25 games he had 12.9ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.2apg. Quite impressive season as he was named to Turkish League All-Star Game. Lampe also played 7 games in Eurocup where he recorded very remarkable stats: 17.0ppg, 8.7rpg and 1.1apg.
The previous (14-15) season Lampe played at FC Barcelona (Liga Endesa) in Spanish league. In 39 games he recorded 5.5ppg and 3.1rpg. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Lampe also played 24 games in Euroleague where he recorded 6.2ppg and 3.8rpg. He contributed to his team making it to the quarterfinals.
In 2003 Lampe was drafted by New York Knicks (NBA) in second round (30th overall).

In 2004 Young was drafted by Seattle SuperSonics (NBA) in second round (41st overall). He attended N.Carolina Central and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Young won Japanese JBL Superleague championship title in 2009.
He is quite experienced player. Young has played in nine different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). A.G.O Rethymno Aegean (A1) agreed terms with 27-year old Cypriot ex-international point guard Christopher Razis (194-89). He is a dual citizen owning also German passport. Razis played last season at BiG Oettinger Rockets Gotha in German ProA. In 37 games he had 5.2ppg, 1.8rpg and 4.3apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
The previous (14-15) season Razis played at OF Irakleio (C) where in 9 games he recorded 8.0ppg, 2.9rpg and 4.1apg. Quite impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A2 3rd Team.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won German Regionalliga (North Group) championship title in 2012. Razis was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Greek A2 Newcomer of the Year in 2014.
He was also a member of Cypriot international program for some years. Razis played for Cypriot Senior National Team between 2008 and 2013 and previously for U16 National Team back in 2005.

Christopher has excellent attitude on and off the floor. He is very coach able and basketball lover he can work out many hours per day as he really targets the sport and he sees him self seriously into the court, in the short term future. He is persistence and always optimist in and out of the court. He is perfectionist and tries always to get the maximum out of his ability. He needs to improve his defence, especially on the man-to-man.

Caneros de La Romana (LNB) added to their roster 29-year old American forward Landon Milbourne (201-87, college: Maryland) from Indios de San Francisco in LNB. Milbourne managed to play in three leagues last year. He also played for Manati (BSN) in Puerto Rican league that season where in 36 games he recorded 14.0ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.4apg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Honorable Mention.
Milbourne is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in four different countries. Milbourne has played previously professionally in France (Limoges CSP Elite and SO Maritime Boulogne), Greece (Panionios), Italy (Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia) and Spain (Gipuzkoa).
He attended University of Maryland until 2010 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.

FC Bayern Muenchen (BBL) agreed on terms of contract with experienced 49-year old Serbian-Italian coach Aleksandar Djordjevic. He coached most recently at Panathinaikos in Greek A1 league. He helped them to win the cup.
Djordjevic has been coaching Serbian Senior National Team since 2014.
He has coached previously professionally in Spain and Italy (Armani Milano and Benetton Treviso).

JDA Dijon Bourgogne (ProA) strengthened their roster with addition of 22-year old American forward Isaiah Miles (201-103kg-94). Miles just graduated from St.Joseph's (NCAA). Miles has played there for the last four years.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
As mentioned above Miles is just out of the college and it will be his first season in pro basketball. His team won Atlantic 10 Tournament in 2014 and 2016. Miles received All-Atlantic 10 Most Improved Player of the Year award in 2016 at his college time.

Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball (ProB) added to their roster 28-year old Haitian guard Eniel Polynice (195-100kg-88, college: Seton Hall). He played this summer at Cangrejeros de Santurce in Puerto Rican BSN league, but left the team in March. In 11 games he recorded 12.7ppg, 4.1rpg, 2.2apg and 1.7spg. The last season Polynice played at Jefes (LNBP) in Mexican league where in two games he averaged 9.0ppg and 4.0rpg.
In 2011 he was drafted by Los Angeles D-Fenders (D-League) as #1 pick overall.
Polynice attended Seton Hall University and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
He won SEC Western Division championship title in 2007.
Polynice is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Argentina (Sionista), Dominican Rep., Uruguay (Bohemios), NBA (Atlanta Hawks), Dominican Republic (Soles de Santo Domingo and Sameji) and Mexico (Frayles de Guasave).

Maraux's team made it to the U21 Championships (Trophee du Futur) Semifinals in 2014.

The previous (14-15) season Passave-Ducteil played at JSF Nanterre where in 30 ProA games he had 8.4ppg and 3.6rpg. A very good season in his career as he was selected to French ProA All-Star Game. Passave-Ducteil also played 14 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 8.5ppg and 3.3rpg.
Among other achievements Passave-Ducteil's team won French Cup in 2014. He received also Eurobasket.com French ProB All-Domestic Players Team award back in 2011.
Passave-Ducteil has played previously for two other French teams: Limoges CSP Elite and Saint-Etienne.

It had been very quiet with German Pro B club ScanPlus Baskets concerning their offseason activities in terms of their roster for the upcoming season until today. Usually a club will announce a contract extension or new player that has been brought in individually, but they made one press release to quickly update how the new team is looking like. The team will go ino the season with three players from last season with Mario Simic, Brian Butler and Filmore Beck.as they got contract extensions.
The club also announced that five new faces will wear theri jersey this season. The team has bolstered their roster with some vital experience as they have added big man Kristian Kuhn who comes from the MLP Academics Heidelberg. Another important signing is veteran Marin Petric (190-G-80) that has valuable Pro A experience having come form the RheinStars. He also played in the BBL with Trier some years ago. The club also brought in Nick Boakye from BG Goettingen who also hasn't reached his full potential as a player. The club also reeled in Marko Krstanovic from Alba Berlin II who will share the point guard duties as well as Adrian Didovic who is a forward coming from Braunschweig. The following players didn't recieve new contracts and have left with Tim Steiner, Edward Williams,
Markus Bretz, Kevin Wysocki and Arber Tolai.
