Zalgiris clinch Mastercard BBL Elite division title as the trophy remains with the Lithuanian team. Zalgiris added another BBL title after beating VEF Riga 75:67. Kaunas Sport Hall and almost 5000 fans saw an amazing Final Four celebrating the victory with the home side. Zalgiris wasted little time at settling into their rhythm, quickly developing a 10 point lead. VEF Riga managed to reduce to 20:14 as Bertans closed the first period. Moreover TreVon Hughes (183-G-87, agency: Edge Sports, college: Wisconsin) and Tyler Cain (203-F-88, college: S.Dakota) tied it at 20:20, but the Latvian side missed 0-10 run to leave the opponents at 20:30. Kristaps Janicenoks (196-F-83) was the last to score at the half sending the teams to the lockers for 40:35. TreVon Hughes made it 42:42, whilst another three-pointer from him and a dunk from Parahouski gave the guests 47:44 lead. Tyler Cain surprised the crowd with 55:53 at the end of third quarter as it became very hot at the court of Kaunas. The fans continued to support their team until the very end and saw the final successful push. Paulius Jankunas (205-F-84, agency: Interperformances) scored for 63:60 and Tadas Klimavicius (204-F-82, agency: Interperformances) as well as Collins added for 71:64. Collins also made the last free throws for the final success. Tadas Klimavicius paced all the winners with 15 points for the necessary win. Paulius Jankunas notched 12, while Brown added 9. TreVon Hughes finished the game with 16 points in the losing effort. Kristaps Janicenoks delivered 12, whilst Tyler Cain scored 10.

3rd Place: Ventspils - Lietuvos Rytas 80-84
Lietuvos Rytas clinched the third position in the Baltic League Elite Division. They overcame Ventspils to step onto the podium. Kenan Kenan Bajramovic (206-F-81, agency: Beo Basket) tallied 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort. Jomantas and Kenan Bajramovic helped Lietuvos Rytas gain a 16:9 lead midway through the starting quarter. The margin grew at 9-point mark before three-pointers from Maris Gulbis (202-F-85) and Strelnieks cut the distance at 3 points after ten minutes 21:24. Oritseweyinmi Efejuku and Kuzminskas put the Latvian team in front at the start of the second quarter. But Lietuvos Rytas immediately answered with a 7:1 run to gain a 5-point lead. The Lithuanians stayed in front arriving at the interval up by 4 points 43:39. Rasic and Jonas Valanciunas (210-C-92) gave Lietuvos Rytas an 11-point lead early in the third term. Kenan Bajramovic stretched the gap to 15 points soon. Ventspils replied with a 10:2 run to narrow the deficit. Strelnieks eventually capped the term with a three-pointer as Ventspils trailed by just eight points with one quarter remaining 62:70. The Latvian team stayed aggressive as they gradually clawed their way back into this one. Brandon Hunter put the Latvian side ahead by one 77:76 with just over a minute to go. Kenan Bajramovic answered with four points in a row as Lietuvos Rytas regained control 80:77. Strelnieks hit just two out of his four free attempts in the dying seconds, while Rasic and Steponas Babrauskas (197-G/F-84) answered with two accurate shots each from the stripe to seal the victory for Lietuvos Rytas. Jonas Valanciunas provided 16 points and 8 rebounds for Lietuvos Rytas. Steponas Babrauskas finished with 15 points in the win. Brandon Hunter replied with 19 points for Ventspils. Oritseweyinmi Efejuku nailed 18 points in the loss.

Juventus triumphed at the Baltic League Challenge Cup. They overcame Kaunas in the second leg of the title clash to steal the trophy. Gediminas Maceina (188-G-84) tallied 14 points, 10 assists and 5 boards to lead the charge.
Juventus entered game having a 7-point cushion after the first encounter between the teams. Juventus made their ambitions clear in the first ten minutes. They outgunned Kaunas 29:13 to stay comfortable in front. Juventus maintained the lead throughout the second term as they recorded a 48:31 halftime advantage. Kaunas did not give up that easily. Rimvydas Samulenas team struck right back cutting the deficit to 9 points with one quarter left. But Juventus took over again in the fourth period and raced to the victory at the end. Arunas Vasiliauskas (201-F-85) knocked down 13 points, while Aurimas Kieza (202-F-82, agency: Players Group, college: Hofstra) fired 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win. Rokas Uzas (202-F-88) responded with 21 points for Kaunas. Sarunas Vasiliauskas (188-G-89) netted 13 points in defeat.

In the meantime Techasas showed character overcoming a 16-point deficit after the opening game and claiming the third place in the standings. They outgunned Neptunas 100:75 at home court to step onto the pedestal. Marius Valukonis (198-F-88) fired 22 points to pace the effort. Gintaras Leonavicius (194-G-83, agency: Players Group) added 19 points in the win. Martynas Mazeika (190-G-85, agency: Limelight Hoops) provided 17 points for Neptunas.
