However Vytautas went on a strong 27:15 run in the third quarter to boost the gap. Pieno Zvaigzdes dropped 27 points in the final period but could not avoid the loss. Tomas Delininkaitis (190-G-82) provided 18 points, while Tadas Klimavicius (204-F-82) added 16 points for the champions. Andriy Agafonov (208-PF-86, agency: AproK Sports Group) answered with 19 points for Pieno Zvaigzdes. Osvaldas Olisevicius (200-PF-93) netted 13 points in the defeat.
Tartu Ulikool clinched Baltic League Bronze medals. They overcame their arch-rivals Kalev/Cramo on aggregate in the consolation final series. The Tallinn team eked out a narrow road win tonight but it was not enough to deny a 12-point deficit after the opening leg. Kalev/Cramo jumped to a 16:13 lead ten minutes into the game. Tartu Ulikool pulled within 2 points at the interval 31:33. The hosts cut the deficit to a single point heading into the fourth term. Kalev/Cramo sank 22 points in the final period but just sweetened the pill at the end. Vitali Liutych (198-SG-92) provided 20 points for the winners. Cedric Simmons (206-F/C-86, college: N.Carolina St.) added 12 points and 10 boards in the victory. Mandell Thomas (188-G-93, college: Fordham) and Dominykas Milka (203-C-92, college: St.Rose, NY) answered with 17 points each for Tartu Ulikool.

Valmiera clinch Triobet BBL Cup 2016 beating another Latvian representative Ventspils 66:64 in the Final game. Janis Kaufmanis (186-PG-89) scored a nail-biting shot to earn him the MVP award. Rolandas Zakis (206-F/C-87) ended up with 11 points, whilst Rihards Lomazs (187-G-96) and Aigars Skele (192-F-92) finished with 10 points apiece.
