Regular Season Round 24: Hapoel Afula - La Charite 83-82

The most exciting game of round 24 in the National League took place in Afula. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-best Maccabi HBK (17-7) to eighth ranked Hapoel Afula (11-13) 83-82 on Tuesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Maccabi HBK. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Steffon Bradford (200-78, college: Nebraska, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Itay Grinboim added 20 points respectively. Hapoel Afula moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Maccabi HBK at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Hapoel Afula is looking forward to face Hapoel Beeri (#13) in Beer-Shev in the next round where they are favorite. Maccabi HBK will play at home against Elitzur Ramla (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
