Semi-Finals Game 2: BK Pardubice - BK Prostejov 77-72

Pardubice leveled the semifinal series versus Prostejov edging those at home court. The hosts were already 17 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 30-18 BK Prostejov's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 77-72 at the end of the game. BK Pardubice dominated on the defensive end, holding BK Prostejov to just 7 points in third quarter. American power forward Marcus Arnold (207-84, college: Illinois, agency: Stanley International) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Jiri Cernosek (200-81) chipped in 18 points during the contest. Arnold is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. BK Pardubice's coach Jan Slowiak allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Eugene Lawrence (184-86, college: St.John's) responded with 23 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Canadian forward Kyle Landry (206-86, college: N.Arizona) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four BK Prostejov players scored in double figures.
