The most exciting game of round 6 in the NBL took place in . This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-best Whampoa (4-2) to seventh ranked Changan Group (3-3) 91-88 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Whampoa. Whampoa was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 22-15 charge of Changan Group, which allowed them to win the game. Stallings is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Changan Group players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Alan Wiggins (206-85, college: USF) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Michael Joiner (200-81, college: Florida St.) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Changan Group moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Whampoa at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Changan Group is looking forward to face league's leader ShenYang in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Whampoa will play against Hebei and is hoping to win this game.
