First victory for Puerto Rico in Neiva. They handed 46-68 loss to the hosts of FIBA Americas Championship 2011 - Colombia. Both teams have 1-1 record now in Preliminary Group A. Cynthia Valentin exploded in victory with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Marie Placido and Jazmine Sepulveda added 11 and 10 points. They also had 9 and 7 rebounds respectively. On the other side, Colombia got 13 points and 8 assists from Erika Valek. Elena Diaz delivered 10 points. Quarters: 4-20, 22-16, 11-17, 9-15. Puerto Rico will take on Argentina today. Colombia will play against Cuba.
