Regular Season Round 7: SISU - Naestved 61-99
Date: October 23, 2011
The game in Copenhagen supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Naestved (4-3) played at the court of 6th ranked SISU (2-5). Naestved smashed SISU 99-61. The game was mostly controlled by Naestved. SISU was better in second period 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to SISU's 40 and made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Naestved forced 20 SISU turnovers and outrebounded them 41-20 including a 28-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: Stephen F. Austin, agency: I.D.S. Law) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). The former international power forward Peter Johansen (205-80) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Naestved players scored in double figures. American swingman Mickey Dennis (190-78, college: JMU) answered with 15 points and 4 assists and the other American import forward Jenard Harrison (203-84, college: Amer.Internat.) added 10 points in the effort for SISU. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Naestved maintains fourth place with 4-3 record. SISU lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Falcon and Vaerlose. Naestved will play against Vaerlose (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. SISU will play against Falcon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
