There was a minor upset in Kouvola where 3rd placed Kauhajoen Karhu (6-4) was defeated by sixth ranked Kouvot (5-5) 71-65 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 22-7 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Kouvot dominated on the defensive end, holding Kauhajoen Karhu to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game.
