Regular Season Round 10: UMKS Kielce - Rosa II Radom 77-65

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Rosa II Radom (3-6) was defeated on the road by third ranked UMKS Kielce (7-3) 77-65 on Sunday. The game without a history. UMKS Kielce led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when UMKS Kielce made 9 blocks. Forward Lukasz Fafara (194-84) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and guard Jakub Lewandowski (192-92) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Four UMKS Kielce players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Pawel Piros (180-88) responded with 20 points and forward Konrad Kapturski (197-83) scored 10 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. UMKS Kielce maintains third position in Group C with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Open Florentyna. Newly promoted Rosa II Radom keeps the tenth place with six games lost. UMKS Kielce will face league's leader PWiK Piaseczno on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rosa II Radom will play against UKS Siemaszka (#7) in Piekary.
