An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Naestved. Third ranked Naestved faced one of their biggest challengers SISU. Host Naestved (14-8) smashed guests from Copenhagen (9-13) 86-62. The game without a history. Naestved led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Naestved outrebounded SISU 45-19 including a 33-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin, agency: I.D.S. Law) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. The other American import point guard Corin Henry (180-88, college: Tarleton St.) contributed with 21 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Naestved's coach Geoff Kotila felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Donald Rutherford (198-87, college: Catawba) replied with 15 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Mike Flowers (193-86, college: Barton, NC) added 14 points in the effort for SISU. Five Naestved and four SISU players scored in double figures. Naestved maintains third position with 14-8 record having five points less than leader Bakken. SISU at the other side keeps the fourth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Horsholm. Naestved will play against Vaerlose (#7) on the road in the next round. SISU will play against Falcon and hopes to get back on the winning track.
