Regular Season Round 2: Arkadikos - Koroivos 79-72

Koroivos (1-1) recorded its first loss in Arkadia. Visitors were defeated by Arkadikos (1-1) 79-72. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Koroivos won fourth quarter 25-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Arkadikos made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Power forward Sokrates Gizogiannis (202-82) notched 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and Serbian center Miroslav Cubrilo (205-82) supported him with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Even 21 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) by Croatian guard Petar Cosic (186-85, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Koroivos. Forward Petros Noeas (204-87) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for the guests.
