ProA top team - Gravelines-Dunkerque (17-7) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Entente Orleans 45 (12-13) 85-56. It was a great shooting night for Gravelines-Dunkerque especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Entente Orleans 45's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Ludovic Vaty (206-88, college: Moraine Valley CC) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American guard Juby Johnson (196-81, college: Miami, OH) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Five Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. American guard Christopher Hill (191-83, college: Michigan St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) answered with 21 points and the other American import forward Brandon Hunter (201-80, college: Ohio) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Entente Orleans 45. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gravelines-Dunkerque maintains first place with 17-7 record. Entente Orleans 45 at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Dijon. Gravelines-Dunkerque are looking forward to face Chorale de Roanne (#5) on the road in the next round. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Poitiers (#15) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
