Important game to mention about was the one when sixth ranked KKL (3-6) saved a 1-point victory edging 5th ranked Dacin Tigers (4-4) 72-71 on Friday evening. Dacin Tigers were ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of KKL, which allowed them to win the game. The winners were led by American center Aaron Pettway (211-80, college: Oklahoma St., agency: Hart Sports Mngm) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 14 points and 18 rebounds and the former international guard Jing-Huan Chen (190-86) supported him with 30 points. Even 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) by Nigerian-American power forward Reggie Okosa (208-80, college: La Salle) did not help to save the game for Dacin Tigers. International point guard Kuan-Lun Lin (187-84) added 15 points and 6 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for lost side. Four Dacin Tigers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. KKL maintains sixth position with 3-6 record. Dacin Tigers at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. KKL will play against higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Dacin Tigers will play against Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
