Regular Season Round 7: Bank of Taiwan - Dacin Tigers 72-83

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Dacin Tigers (7-9) defeated bottom-ranked Bank of Taiwan (3-13) 83-72 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Dacin Tigers. Bank of Taiwan was better in fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for the former international guard Chih-Feng Chang (183-81) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Lai Bolin (180-89) helped adding 10 points and 4 assists. At the losing side Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech, agency: Worldwide Career Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Chih-Chiang Hsu (195-82) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Dacin Tigers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 7-9 record. Bank of Taiwan lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Dacin Tigers will face higher ranked Taiwan Beer (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bank of Taiwan will play against Yulon Luxgen and hope to win that game.
