Rather expected game in Kloszko where 11th ranked Cieszyn (2-17) was crushed by eighth ranked Nysa Klodzko (9-9) 105-54 on Saturday. The game without a history. Nysa Klodzko led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Nysa Klodzko forced 26 Cieszyn turnovers and outrebounded them 37-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Nysa Klodzko especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Cieszyn's players. It was a great evening for center Jaroslaw Bartkowiak (201-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Jakub Gadomski (199-87, college: USC Aiken) helped adding 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Nysa Klodzko players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Lukasz Kubik (201-92) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Leszek Siwy (196-83) scored 19 points and 5 steals. Cieszyn's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Nysa Klodzko maintains eighth place in Group B with 9-9 record. Cieszyn lost their eleventh game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Nysa Klodzko will face AZS Pol.Cz-wa (#10) in Czestochowa in the next round. Cieszyn will play at home against Slask 2 Wroclaw and hope to win that game.
