Very predictable result when second ranked Svendborg (19-6) defeated on the road 9th ranked Falcon (9-18) 102-90 on Thursday. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 12 points. Svendborg looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Argentinian-Italian point guard Antonio Porta (187-83, agency: Players Group) who scored 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 7 assists. American point guard Johnell Smith (180-80, college: New Orleans) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Taylor Darby (204-90, college: Pepperdine) who recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds and international guard Gabriel Lundberg (191-94) added 26 points, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively. Five Svendborg and four Falcon players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Svendborg. They maintain second place with 19-6 record having five points less than leader Bakken. Newly promoted Falcon keeps the ninth position with 18 games lost.
