The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Tsmoki II (15-8) in Mogilev on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Borisfen (14-9) 74-67. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Tsmoki II. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 24-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Borisfen forced 35 Tsmoki II turnovers. Strangely Tsmoki II outrebounded Borisfen 121-26 including a 44-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. 53 personal fouls committed by Tsmoki II helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for guard Alexander Harkevich (186-86) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Borisfen have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 14-9 record having just -13 point less than leader Tsmoki II. Tsmoki II at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost. Borisfen are again looking forward to face league's leader Tsmoki II in Minsk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tsmoki II will have a break next round.
