Regular Season Round 32: Pamukkale - Antalya 58-52

Date: April 19, 2014
Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Antalya (13-19) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Pamukkale (20-12) 58-52 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Antalya was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 20-13 charge of Pamukkale, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Osiris Eldridge (191-88, college: Illinois St.) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and power forward Polat Kocaoglu (205-79, agency: 1x1 Sports) who added 14 points during the contest. Pamukkale's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Damien Kinloch (203-80, college: Tenn Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Henry Antwan Dobie (183-78, college: LIU Brooklyn) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Pamukkale have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 20-12 record. Loser Antalya dropped to the twelfth place with 19 games lost. Pamukkale will face higher ranked Istanbul B.B. (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Antalya will play against Final Genclik (#8) and hope to win that game.
