Semi-Finals Game 4: CUBA - DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 71-44

Cuba enter the Championship game of the Centrobasket 2014. The defending champions overcame Dominican Republic 71:44 and will take on Puerto Rico in the Final game. Moreover Cuba sealed a place at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. Dominican Republic meanwhile will take on Virgin Islands int he game for the third place. Cuba allowed the opponents to score 10 points in the first and then the second quarters. They enjoyed a 38:20 half-time advantage and easily led the game to the win. Cuba won the third period 9-6 and closed the game with a 24-18 rally. Gelis Oyanaisy stepped up with 13 points and Cepeda Marlen nailed 10. Amargo Yamara notched 9, whilst Galindo Anisleidy had 8. Estrella Jennifer produced 13 points in defeat and Guzman Carmen scored 7.
