Regular Season Round 2: Wilki Morskie - AZS Koszalin 69-75

Very expected game in Szczecin where Wilki Morskie (0-2) was defeated by AZS Koszalin (2-0) 75-69 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Wilki Morskie won third quarter 19-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Qyntel Woods (202-81, college: N.Mississippi JC) scored 28 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import point guard Dante Swanson (178-81, college: Tulsa, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) chipped in 11 points and 5 assists during the contest. AZS Koszalin's coach Igor Milicic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Darrell Harris (205-84, college: Rhode Island) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized Ukrainian power forward Vitaliy Kovalenko (203-84) scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AZS Koszalin will face Trefl in Sopot in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wilki Morskie will play on the road against Asseco in Gdynia and hope to win that game.
