Regular Season Round 2: SISU - Naestved 82-88

Date: October 13, 2014
The game in Copenhagen was also quite interesting. Naestved (2-0) played at the court of SISU (0-2). Naestved managed to secure a 6-point victory 88-82 on Monday. SISU trailed by 20 points after 3 quarters before a 28-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 82-88 at the end of the game. Naestved forced 23 SISU turnovers. Brazilian forward Matao de Souza (201-86, college: Idaho) notched 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Serbian guard Milan Stanojevic (183-86, college: E.Washington, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 19 points. Naestved's coach Bogdan Karaicic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 22 points by American guard Darryl Partin (198-87, college: Boston U.) did not help to save the game for SISU. International forward Frederik Rungby (199-93) added 17 points for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Naestved will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SISU will play against Vaerlose and hope to win that game.
