Very predictable result when fifth ranked Polonia Bytom (3-2) outscored at home bottom-ranked Cieszyn (0-5) 101-67 on Saturday. The game without a history. Polonia Bytom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Cieszyn's 32. They outrebounded Cieszyn 40-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. Polonia Bytom looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Grzegorz Zadecki (195-83) who scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. point guard Marcin Ecka (184-78) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Polonia Bytom players scored in double figures. Forward Lukasz Ochodek (197-82) produced 23 points and Grzegorz Siwy added 14 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Polonia Bytom moved-up to fourth place in Group C, which they share with Pogon RS and Alba Chorzow. Cieszyn lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Polonia Bytom will face higher ranked WKK Wroclaw at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
