Regular Season Round 5: KUKS Koszalin - SMS PZKosz 55-89

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked SMS PZKosz (2-2) smashed on the road bottom-ranked KUKS Koszalin (0-4) 89-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. SMS PZKosz led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding KUKS Koszalin to just 7 points in third quarter. SMS PZKosz dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to KUKS Koszalin's 24. They outrebounded KUKS Koszalin 56-23 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when SMS PZKosz made 8 blocks. KUKS Koszalin was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was point guard Mariusz Konopatzki (192-96) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. KUKS Koszalin will play on the road against Basket Pila and hopes to get finally their first victory.
