Very predictable result when third ranked CD Castro (7-2) defeated at home 9th ranked Deportivo Valdivia (2-7) 97-85. It looked good early as Deportivo Valdivia took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then CD Castro had a 28-20 second period charge getting the lead and Deportivo Valdivia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 85-97. CD Castro made 30-of-33 charity shots (90.9 percent) during the game. CD Castro outrebounded Deportivo Valdivia 43-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists.
