The game in Svit supposed to be also worth to mention about. 4th placed Levice (5-3) played at the court of fifth ranked Iskra Svit (6-3). Iskra Svit smashed Levice 104-61. Iskra Svit dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Levice's 34. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Levice's players. It was a good game for American guard Lakeem Jackson (196-89, college: S.Carolina) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Dave Coley (188, college: Stony Brook) contributed with 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. Five Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Iskra Svit's coach Rudolf Jugo felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Serbian point guard Luka Igrutinovic (193-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds and forward Vladimir Klar (191-86) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Levice. Iskra Svit moved-up to fourth place. Levice at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Iskra Svit's next round opponent will be league's leader Inter Bratislava at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Levice will play against Nova Ves (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
