Rather expected game in Poznan where 11th ranked AZS PP (1-5) was defeated by ninth ranked Legia (3-3) 76-60 on Sunday. The game without a history. Legia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Forward Arkadiusz Kobus (197-86, agency: Promotex) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Lukasz Wilczek (190-86) chipped in 6 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Tomasz Baszak (183-82) with 25 points and 4 steals and power forward Maciej Rostalski (198-90) scored 7 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Legia moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. AZS PP lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. Legia will face league's leader Stal Ostrow in Ostrow Wlkp. in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. AZS PP will play on the road against Sokol Lancut (#3) and hope to win that game.
