There was no surprise when 11th ranked La Spezia (1-5) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Lavezzini PR (3-3) 67-50. The game was mostly controlled by Lavezzini PR. La Spezia was better in third quarter 17-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Ukrainian power forward Olga Maznichenko (190-91, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. American center Megan Kritscher (195-89, college: Sacramento St.) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners.
