Regular Season Round 6: Stabill Jezioro - AZS Koszalin 83-118

Bottom-ranked Stabill Jezioro (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 118-83 loss to third ranked AZS Koszalin (5-1) in Tarnobrzeg. The game was mostly controlled by AZS Koszalin. Stabill Jezioro was better in second period 29-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AZS Koszalin shot 65.6 percent from the field and made 26-of-27 charity shots (96.3 percent) during the game. American forward Qyntel Woods (202-81, college: N.Mississippi JC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Josh Miller (170-87, college: W.Virginia St.) replied with 21 points and 9 assists and Kacper Mlynarski (202-92) added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Stabill Jezioro. Five AZS Koszalin and four Stabill Jezioro players scored in double figures. AZS Koszalin maintains third position with 5-1 record behind leader PGE Turow. Stabill Jezioro at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. AZS Koszalin will play against AZS Polfarmex (#8) in Kutno in the next round where they are favorite. Stabill Jezioro will play on the road against Asseco (#4) in Gdynia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
