No shocking result in a game when third ranked Perth Wildcats (6-2) beat at home 6th ranked Townsville Crocodiles (3-5) 93-78. The game was mostly controlled by Perth Wildcats. Townsville Crocodiles was better in second period 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Perth Wildcats made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Perth Wildcats had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Perth Wildcats brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. The best player for the winners was American guard Jermaine Beal (191-87, college: Vanderbilt) who scored 29 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import forward DeAndre Daniels (206-92, college: Connecticut) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.
