Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Angers BC (1-5) lost at home to tenth ranked Le Portel (4-3) 72-56 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Le Portel. Angers BC was better in second period 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Le Portel dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Angers BC's 30. Le Portel forced 19 Angers BC turnovers. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifteenth position with five games lost. Le Portel will have a break next round. Angers BC will play at home against Poitiers (#7) and hope to win that game.
