Rather expected game in Bursa where 9th ranked Final Genclik (3-5) was defeated by seventh ranked Socar Petkim (5-3) 99-95. Socar Petkim shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Final Genclik helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-DR Congolese center Bambale Osby (203-86, college: Maryland) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Tyler Smith (201-86, college: Tennessee) contributed with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Osby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Socar Petkim's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Damien Kinloch (203-80, college: Tenn Tech) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and forward Serkan Ozver (206-90, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Final Genclik. Four Socar Petkim and five Final Genclik players scored in double figures. Socar Petkim moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Akhisar Bld. Final Genclik at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. Socar Petkim's next round opponent will be Akhisar Bld (#6) at home. Final Genclik will play against Mamak DSI (#15) in Ankara and hope to win that game.
